Hollywood actor Rob Lowe and his jewelry designer wife Sheryl Berkoff sold their Montecito manse for a reported $42 million. The buyer is not known, but beside stunning mansion, he will get nobles neighbours such as Oprah Winfrey, Dick Wolf, Drew Barrymore and Google’s Eric Schmidt. The home itself is actually a large Georgian mansion which sits on four acres, and has a total of 20 rooms. The home also featured in a 2010 issue of Architectural Digest.
Lowe and Berkoff have two sons, ages 18 and 20, so reportedly they don’t need such a huge house since the kids are grown up.
Last year the couple sold their beach house in Carpinteria for a relatively modest $5.9million to real estate entrepreneur William P Foley II. They had bought the property for just over $5million in 2004.
