Auckland-based Alloy Yachts built a true blue-water explorer – CaryAli. Designed by René van der Velden, with an interior by Redman Whiteley Dixon, motor yacht CaryAli possesses design elements from classic, sea-proven vessels, such as oceanographic research ships, Navy vessels, and long-range fishing trawlers. She can carry the owners plus eight guests to remote destinations in safety, comfort and a high standard of style. The interior design is classically nautical yet modern and cool. Varnished wood, leather, and stainless steel inlays are used throughout. Ensuite baths are statuary marble with stainless steel inlays and mirrors. All cabins and ensuites have large ports and four of the cabins have showers opening to the sea.
Some very important holistic elements of design visible at the sun deck, the bridge deck and three military type tenders on her foredeck extend ability to explore both the sea and the land.
Cary Ali– is 39.19-meters LOA, 36.03-meters LWL and at her widest point, 8.80-meters. Boasting a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, the splendid displacement yacht CaryAli is powered by twin Caterpillar C32 Acert diesels.
