If looking warm place these winter days, there is no better place than Koh Samui, Thailand. Just west of Maenam on the tranquil north shore of Koh Samui, you’ll find amazing modern architecture villa with dramatic sea views. Celadon villa boasts many amenities, but its highlight is definitely position. It is 100 meters above the Gulf of Thailand and 300 meters from the sea, with more than 180-degree views including the stunning sunset. With far reaching views across to neighbouring islands Koh Phangan & Koh Tao and breathtaking sunset vistas over the Ang Thong Marine Park, Celadon is the epitome of modern tropical living.
Designed by renowned British architect Gary Fell of GFAB Architects, the villa is combination of cutting edge architecture and luxurious interiors. Surrounded by lush tropical gardens, this villa gives you a feeling of being “on top of the world”. Inside, the home has four bedrooms, each with its own en suite bathroom and private terrace, sleeping a total of eight people.
Amazingf villa is owned by interior designer Camilla Riviere of Riviere Rugs, who lives in Sweden where the winters are terribly cold, so she wanted to find a getaway – somewhere warm. The design/build process took about two years, but the end result is totally worth it to Camilla: “We’re spending more and more time out there.”
Camila has injected quite a bit more of her personal style into the design. “We’ve added some traditional elements, petrified Indonesian woods, some Italian-style furniture, and decor from other places.” Camilla says her style is eclectic and constantly evolving.
Celadon villa is available for rent, priced at $1000 per night.
