As it was announced earlier, Volvo will introduce a concept car that announces their future SUV models, at the 2014 NAIAS Auto Show in Detroit next week. The study was called the Volvo XC Coupe Concept, which is based on the new SPA platform on which will be based new cars from the manufacturer in the future. Volvo XC Concept Coupé represent the next chapter of the story about the new Volvo design.
XC Coupe Concept is the first of three planned design studies. The next chapter of this success story on Volvo’s new design shows how the distinctive Scandinavian style and supreme security can be ” wrapped ” in a modern form. The vehicle has among others the big 21 inch wheels, the new design of the front grill, LED headlights and Sensus Connected Touch infotainment system.
At the Detroit Motor Show Volvo will also present a new generation of 2.0 -liter four-cylinder engines, petrol engines with a power range from 140 to 302Hp and diesel engines with range from 120 to 230Hp.
