Mercedes will have much to show at the upcoming Auto Show in Detroit ( NAIAS 2014 ) and in addition to many novelties, there will be found among others, the next-generation C-Class ( W205 ), a new version of the S600 S -class luxury sedan, and of course, the serial GLA45 AMG. As a reminder, the concept GLA45 AMG was launched in late November last year at the Los Angeles Motor Show, while the promotion of the production car will be held on 13 January in Detroit.
Like the A45 AMG, serial GLA45 AMG will be powered by 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo petrol engine with direct injection that develops 265 kW/360Hp at 6000 r / min. and 450 Nm of torque at 2250-5000 r / min. Mercedes announces acceleration from 0 to 60mph in 4.8 seconds, and the maximum speed is electronically limited to 155mph. Drive is to all four wheels, and a transmission is AMG SPEEDSHIFT DCT seven-speed dual-clutch.
GLA45 AMG ‘s naturally got the AMG body kit, modified suspension, stronger braking system, new 19-inch wheels with 235 /45( and optional 20-inch with tires 235/40 ), sports exhaust system, sleek interior with leather sports seats, red accents and three-spoke steering wheel with nappa leather. The price of the new Mercedes ‘Star’ has not yet been posted.
