Hermes’ iconic silk scarves are being reinterpreted with indigo dying methods. French brand Hermès is set to release a limited edition capsule collection – Indigo. The new collection consists of four scarves in either silk or cashmere in sizes large and medium. Celebrating the brand’s legendary designs, the printing skills of the artisans and the natural indigo dying methods from Northern Bangladesh and Southern India, Hermés has partnered again with graffiti artist Kongo to create unique prints for the scarves. This reinterpreted designs include diverse printing and embroidery techniques, with bridles, spurs and colored feathers.
Hermès’ indigo scarves will be on sale just before St. Valentine’s day from February 13 in the Hermès store and online.
