Following recent patent drawings and spy photos of the new Porsche 911 Targa (991 series), now we can see the first official image that was prematurely leaked. The new 911 Targa will normally occur in the first quarter of this year, according to some sources perhaps next week at the Detroit Auto Show, and according to others in early March at the Geneva Motor Show.
However, the new 911 Targa will have a roof which will be able to be removed, striking B pillars and large rear window. As the engine is concerned, you can expect the two six-cylinder units, the 3.4L with 257 kW/350Hp and 390 Nm, and the 3.8L with 294 kW/400Hp and 440 Nm (the stronger 911 Targa S version).
