Dior’s Spring 2014 Trianon makeup collection is inspired by Marie-Antoinette and her Petit Trianon residence near Versailles. The collection contains a lot of pastel shades reflecting blossoming flowers and joyful play of butterflies – so idyllic Spring scene. The centerpiece of the new collection, the Trianon Palette comes in an exquisitely refined bow-shaped case containing eye shadows (mocha, pistachio and pink), an eyeliner and a blush. Two new blushes with tones – a coral and a softer pink found inspiration in Marie-Antoinette’s court.
There are also two Diorshow Monos in this line with the bow pattern. We see a medium/dark purple and an iridescent pale pistache green, both with shimmery finish.
Another interesting part of this collection are the four new nail polish shades, as well as two skincare products – Dior’s Pore Minimizer and Glow Maximizer. And, for the end, the lipsticks and glosses. We see pearly finishes in soft pastel colours and a hint of bright hot pink. With new Dior’s makeup collection, this will be very sunny Spring.
Dior’s Spring 2014 Trianon Makeup Collection will be available from mid-January and through the Spring-Summer 2014 season.
