An Australian American media mogul, Rupert Murdoch had just sold his Rosehearty yacht for the requested $29,7 million. The 82-year old founder, Chairman and CEO of the News Corporation put the luxury vessel on sale in September last year, just three months after filing for divorce from his third wife of 14 years, Wendi Deng. Stunning 184-foot yacht, was sold over Christmas by Alex Lees-Buckley in Monoco’s Camper & Nicholsons office. The identity of the buyer is undisclosed.
Back in 2009, Murdoch put his yacht up for rent for £181,000 ($286,000) per week, and it’s believed that he has been using it a lot less himself in the last few years.
