Audi, based on a recently renewed the A8 L ( extended- wheelbase ), has prepared an armored version that meets the security requirements of ballistic standards VR7. There will be several engines in the range, including 4.0L V8 TFSI with 320 kW/435Hp and 600 Nm ( this version has LED headlights ) and W12 FSI with 368 kW/500Hp and 625 Nm ( this version has Matrix LED technology ). With a 4.0L V8 TFSI engine Audi A8 L Security from 0-60mph comes in 7.5 seconds, while the A8 L Security with W12 FSI engine comes in 7 1 second and can reach an electronic limited 130mph. This vehicle is 527 cm long and can be ordered now, but the delivery will start in the third quarter of 2014.
