BMW has announced that they going to offer, to the U.S customers, a new 740Ld xDrive Sedan model. The car will appear at this year’s auto show in Chicago, and will be powered by a 3.0 liter TwinPower Turbo six-cylinder diesel engine with 190 kW/255Hp and 559 Nm of torque. The engine uses the latest generation of electronically controlled high-precision diesel injection system.
The car also comes with eight-speed automatic gearbox, the drive to all four wheels, and factory data says that car accelerate from 0 to 60 mph is 6.1 seconds. Sales of the BMW xDrive 740Ld will begin in the U.S. in the spring, at a starting price of 83,245 dollars.
