According to reports, Toni Braxton splashed out $3 million for the house in suburban Los Angeles. That wouldn’t be such a news that Grammy-winning singer didn’t filed for bankruptcy six months ago. Toni, whose reality show “Braxton Family Values” is already on its third season just purchased the 5,323 square foot mansion in the exclusive and celebrity-infested “The Oaks” neighborhood. A French-country inspired single-story home with a a private courtyard entry features 4 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms.
Inside, gleaming wood floors, custom beam ceilings and built-in cabinetry accentuate the formal living area. Adjacent, a magnificent chef’s kitchen has Sub Zero and Wolf stainless appliances, granite counters and elaborate tile work and custom cabinetry. A private master suite features a sitting area, dual walk-in closets and a bathroom with limestone floors, a spa tub, designer tile shower, water closet and vanity. Each of the three additional guest bedrooms have en-suite facilities and, as per marketing materials, a bonus room can be pressed into use as a fifth bedroom if desired or required.
Backyard amenities include the aforementioned loggia, a pergola pavilion near a salt water swimming pool and spa, several fountains, a roomy terrace, a wee patch o’ grass, and a second, free-standing outdoor fireplace next to the swimming pool.
