Garrett McNamara, the U.S surfing legend, was born in Pittsfield, in the U.S state of Massachusetts, and his family moved to Hawaii when he was 11 years old. He is the best in his job, and according to this, it is no surprise that Mercedes entered into cooperation with the world-famous surfer. With advertising agency BBDO and Garrett McNamara, Mercedes has unveiled a limited run surfboard, called “The Silver Arrow of the Seas”.
The surfboard was created to tackle the waves of Praia do Norte, in Nazaré, Portugal, and to catch the big waves, which McNamara seeking for. “I am looking forward to testing the technology behind the boards, because when you’re surfing the waves of Nazaré, you’ll riding faster than ever. I am happy they’ve built boards for riding fast.” said McNamara.
