Whitney Houston’s New Jersey home is back on the market. Lavish mansion in Mendham Township in Morris County, has been on and off the market since 2009 until Whitney’s untimely death prior to the Grammys in January 2012. Houston owned the 13,000-square-foot-plus mansion for more than 20 years. She married R&B star Bobby Brown on the property in 1992. The place was the site of Houston’s brief reality show called “Being Bobby Brown.”
Originally offered for as much as $2.5 million, the home last publicly listed for $1.75 million in early 2012, and it has now returned to the market at a $250,000 discount, relisting for $1.5 million.
Houston’s former home sits on a little more than five wooded acres and features five bedrooms, four full, and two half bathrooms. There is also a swimming pool, tennis court and six-car garage. Inside, an entry way leads to a two-story great room, designed for entertaining with a sunken bar and stone fireplace.
