Scalfaro and Giotto Bizzarrini launch a limited edition of mechanical wrist watches commemorating the introduction of the iconic 250 GTO sports car in 1962. GTO 1962 Bizzarrini Edition chronograph isn’t just a tribute to the legendary car or the designer. These special wristwatches are made from actual parts of the 250 GTO owned by Pink Floyd legend Nick Mason (the ex-Ecurie Francorchamps chassis no.3757GT).
The watch with 42mm case is finished in red, black and silver with a racing-inspired rubber strap, and features a Swiss made La Joux-Perret chronograph movement visible through the sapphire-crystal see-through caseback.
The signature of Giotto Bizzarrini adorns the face of each chronograph and underlines the exclusivity of this edition limited to 250 pieces. The only watch including original material of the world’s most valuable Sports Car is priced at €7,950 ($10,900).
