Now, 108 vehicles plus a day of parts and accessories from this world renown collection will be offered without reserve by Auctions America on July 11-12, 2014 in Portola Valley, California. 100% of hammer from this auction will benefit the Collings Foundation of Stow, Massachusetts.This collection contains many of the world’s finest and most original examples of military vehicles of the last century.
Mr. Littlefield also founded the Military Vehicle Technology Foundation (MVTF), a not for profit 501(c)3 museum. Its mission is the preservation of military vehicles to showcase technological advancements on the battlefield over the last century. The MVTF oversees one of the largest and most significant collections of historical military vehicles in the world. Domestic and foreign combat vehicles such as tanks, armored cars, self-propelled artillery, and other technically interesting mobile platforms are the focus of the collection. In addition to the vehicles, there are towed artillery, antitank, and anti-aircraft guns. Military support equipment, inert ordnance, and accessories round out the collection.
