Now traditionally on May 1st Guerlain launches a collectible edition of the Muguet fragrance. So this year as well French perfume house announced the release of their annual limited edition version of Muguet, dedicated to love and Spring. The Muguet 2014 seems to have the same fragrance, a delicate green floral artistic imitation of the natural lily of the valley fragrance (jasmine, bergamot, rose, lily-of-the-valley).
The 2014 edition was developed in collaboration with ceramic artist Brigitte de Bazelaire (associated with Porcelaines de la Fabrique who manufacture Limoges china since 1825). The bee bottle with a white bow and pale green liquid inside is hidden in elegant white porcelain flacon holder. The design reprises the style of Les Parisiennes, the boutique line sold at boutiques and espaces Guerlain. The process requires a double “baking” at more than 1000 degrees Centigrade.
Only 1872 numbered flacons of Muguet (125 ml) will be sold, priced at €400 ($553). The fragrance will be available from May 1st in all Guerlain boutiques and select perfume stores.
