Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen had put his Tatoosh yacht up for sale in 2010 with Fraser Yachts and was seeking €125,000,000 ($170 million). Now, four years later since it didn‘t attract a serious buyer, the 303ft vessel has been withdrawn from auction. ‘The yacht has not been sold, and furthermore is not for sale,’ said Stuart Larsen, of Fraser Yachts’ Fort Lauderdale office.
Designed by Kusch Yachts and with an interior by Terence Disdale, the Tatoosh was built in 2001 by HDW Nobiskrug and refitted just this year. The boat is truly impressive. The yacht features nine guest rooms and two staff cabins. In addition to two helicopter pads, the steel-hulled yacht features a swimming pool and cinema. It can accommodate 24 guests and 35 crew members.
This superyacht last appeared during the Sochi Winter Olympics where it was the largest yacht dwarfing even Russian President Vladimir Putin’s 187ft Olympia.
