Threehouse – a place to escape from the rest of the world. But, this Quiet Treehouse crafted by luxury small-structure designer Blue Forest in partnership with Quiet Mark and John Lewis is a bit different and advanced. It’s actually adapted to this days since it’s equipped with next generation sound engineering to insulate children and families from harmful excessive noise. So, the purpose is the same but it now marks a new era of acoustic design combined with a fascinating vision into the power of sound in our homes and lives.
The two-floor structure is made from 80% organic and recyclable material.The construction materials were donated by many famous and sustainable brands, including include Kebony, Medite Tricoya, Jewson, Cantifix, Pilkington Glass, Ion Architectural Glass, Acoustiblok, Rockwool, Kvadrat Soft Cell, John Cullen Lighting and more.
Designed to evoke the mystery and magic of a natural woodland environment the treehouse is equally at home in a modern urban setting. Accessed by a stairway which connects the two floors, its bold contemporary design can be installed independently of a host tree yet still provides the user with the feeling that they are high in the tree tops looking down on the world below.
The Quiet Treehouse can be seen at the Ideal Home Show 2014 (which runs March 14-30 at London’s Earl Court) and after that it’ll be donated to The Chestnut Tree House Children’s Hospice in West Sussex, England.
