Jonathan Rhys Meyers has listed his Hollywood Hills home on sale for $1,6 million. The star of NBC’s vampire drama, Dracula, bought the house in 2007 for $1.595 million. Current listing details show the approximately 1,433 square foot house was originally built in 1961 and is currently configured with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, a small private pool and an open, contemporary floor plan. It is currently unknown if Jonathan‘s NBC show Dracula will be renewed for a second season.
Rhys Meyers is well known for his well-publicised battles with alcoholism. Irish actor spent time in “an alcohol-treatment program” early last year, but was captured falling off the wagon in November when he was arrested for public drunkeness and breach of the peace in Dublin airport. The charges were later dropped after he apologised.
In an interview late last year, Rhys Meyers admitted his drink demons. He said: “Drink doesn’t fit into the groove of where my life is going.
“I want to do really good things with my life. And drinking is not synonymous with that. The [Richard] Burton days, the [Peter] O’Toole days, they are gone.”
