What kind of mix! Leica, Hello Kitty and Playboy. This odd trio was brought together by French clothing store Colette to create an item for the store’s Hello Kitty x Playboy collection, dedicated to Hello Kitty’s 40th and Playboy’s 60th anniversaries. The ‘Leica X Hello Kitty X Playboy’ camera has a black body, and features an image of Hello Kitty wearing Playboy bunny ears on the front. She is also holding a camera in her hands.
This special Leica C camera is definitely the nicest item in a collection that includes a lot of things such as iPhone cases, mugs, lighters, candies and mirrors. The camera has a shutter speed of 250 to 1/4000 per second and an MOS primary color filter.
“People thought I was crazy, but now everyone agrees they look amazing together,” Sarah Andelman, founder of Colette, told Style.com.
According to Colette, only 10 of these cameras will be sold, and they are priced at $1,264 each which is almost double the price of a “regular” Leica C ($699).
