This year, Leica Camera AG is celebrating 100 years of Leica photography. In honor of this occasion, the german camera manufacturer has unveiled another special edition: The Leica D-Lux 6 Edition 100. This is the second special edition of this centennial year, following the Leica S Edition 100 model. Leica D-Lux 6 edition includes compact camera, an elegant camera case in matching genuine black leather, carrying strap and wrist strap. The camera differs in a silver painted lens and a high-gloss black camera body. A particular feature is a special engraving of the centennial logo on camera body and camera case.
In its technical specification, the centennial edition is identical to the standard model of the Leica D-Lux 6 and is therefore characterised by combination of a high-performance lens and a 1.7″ CMOS sensor that is particularly large for this compact camera class. The camera also offers a comprehensive range of features, including automatic mode, manual setting options and full-HD video recording capability. A range of optional camera accessories, for instance an electronic viewfinder, can also provide even greater creative freedom.
This Leica D-Lux 6 Edition 100 is strictly limited to 5,000 sets worldwide and is available from March.
