The home style draws inspiration from 16th-century Tudor homes that dot the English countryside in Duncanwood Reserve in the desirable Green Hills area of Nashville, Tenn. What is best of all, HGTV viewers can enter for a chance to win the home. The property is part of a grand prize package valued at over $1 million that will be awarded this summer.
“This is our second HGTV Smart Home, and it will be one of the most charming, beautiful homes we’ve ever built,” said Jack Thomasson, HGTV professional house planner. “HGTV viewers will be pleasantly surprised at some of the design elements. This will be a space that really ‘pops’.”
Designed by P. Shea and constructed by Carbine & Associates, the home – HGTV‘s 2014 Smart Home consists of three bedrooms and 3 ½ baths, and features many of the latest technology trends to connect the home’s appliances and devices, and give the homeowner better control over energy use, security, interior climate and lighting.
The exterior features a mix of painted brick and siding accents.
The giveaway ends on June 9 at 5 p.m. ET. and allows you to enter twice a day at both HGTV and HGTVRemodels.
