French actress and style icon Catherine Deneuve is selling her chateau in the Parisian countryside. The Château de Primard, located 75 km from Paris, will go on the market for £3,2 million ($5,38 million). The 18th century chateau has 1,200-square-metre of luxury living space and comes with a home cinema cinema, 70 square-metre sauna suite, and a staggering 50-square-metre kitchen. The ground floor features a dining room, a ‘lounge boudoir’ and a living room. On the first floor there is a master bedroom, a further two smaller bedrooms, a bathroom, guest suite, and a child’s room.
In addition to the sauna suite, the second floor features two more children’s rooms, another guest suite, and a lounge. The top floor is made up simply of a lounge and a home cinema.
Outdoors amenities (garden and outdoor pool) was famously designed by landscape gardener Jacques Wirtz, who sculpted the hedges of the Elysee Palace in the capital.
Deneuve also owns an apartment in the sixth arrondissement in Paris but recently told local media she wants to be in the countryside to relax.
