Rihanna just recently put her Pacific Palisades mansion up for sale, but in the meantime, she is reportedly renting $8 million massive single-family residence in the prestigious Hollywood Hills. Some tabloids are reporting that the 26-year-old singer purchased the home, but the listing records show no changes in the status, which means she is probably only renting the place. “The Fortress” – 10,369-square-foot home sits on a 0.69-acre lot and is comprised of 7 bedrooms and nine bathrooms.
Designed by AIA startchitect David Lawrence Grey, the home features state-of-the-art interiors and is laden with luxurious amenities like a theater, a separate guest house, an infinity pool, a 12-person spa and even nightclub. A koi-pond and lush gardens are some of its green features.
The home previously belonged to DJ/producer Val Kolton, who bought it from Rockstar energy drink founder Russ Weiner for $8 million in 2008. Public records indicate that Kolton sold it in late 2012 for $7.2 million.
