A $50 million duplex penthouse condo at the Faena Residence is now under contract. A Faena Group executive and the broker representing the buyer told the Wall Street Journal a deal was reached for the sale of the duplex penthouse, part of the Faena District in Miami Beach. Jeffrey M. Miller of Zilbert International Realty represented the buyer in the deal. Luxury penthouse features 8,273 square feet of interior space and about 10,000 square feet of exterior space and includes five bedrooms and five and two half bathrooms. The unit includes a 70-foot-long rooftop pool with ocean views.
The condo component of Faena Miami Beach is now sold out and this listing is the most expensive home of the area. The current Miami Beach record is the $27 million sale of a Setai Resort and Residences unit in January 2013.
The Faena Residence Miami Beach development is an 18-story beachfront apartment building designed by starchitects Norman + Foster. It is the first element of the Faena District Project, an upcoming luxury residential, cultural and commercial space at Miami Beach. It is being developed by Alan Faena and businessman partner Len Blavatnik.
