BMW celebrates 30 years since the appearance of the first-generation of M5 models, and on that occasion was made special and celebratory edition of the current M5, called “30 Jahre M5“(30 years M5). First of all, its 4.4 liter twin turbo V8 engine is boosted to 441 kW/600Hp and 700 Nm of torque, paired with a seven-speed M DCT transmission, and the acceleration of the 1870 kg heavy car to 60mph is now only 3.9 seconds, while top speed is electric limited to 155mph. With optional M Driver ‘s Package car can reach 190mph.
Also in the package are the Individual Frozen Dark Silver metallic exterior with dark chrome accents, 20 inch alloy wheels (tires 265/40 front and 295/40 rear), Merino leather and Alcantara on the seats, steering wheel with Alcantara, dark aluminum elements interior, ” 30 Years M5 ” tags, as well as Competition Package with sport tuned suspension, the revised M Dynamic mode and black chrome exhaust pipes.
There is also a sound system with 16 speakers, and are available Harman- Kardon System with 600 W or Bang & Olufsen Surround with 1200 W. The official premiere is expected next month at an event Goodwood Festival of Speed, and will be made limited edition of only 300 pieces.
