Ariel Motor Company announces a new limited edition of the Atom 3.5, with the addition of R in its name. So, Ariel Atom 3.5 R is powered by four-cylinder 2.0-liter engine from the Honda Civic Type R, which comes with 261 kW/350Hp. Acceleration from 0 to 60 mph takes 2.6 seconds and to 100 mph exactly 6 seconds. The package also offers a six-speed transmission Sadev (from Ariel V8), Öhlins TTX dampers and Michelin high-performance tires.
Ariel Atom 3.5R can be already purchase, at a cost of 54,000 pounds($92,000), and the delivery will start in the summer.
