Demi Moore has reportedly decided to sell her triplex in New York City’s famed San Remo building for $75 million. According to the Post, the price includes Moore’s stunning triplex, along with a two-bedroom, ground-floor unit she also owns in the building. The triplex is at the top of the south tower of the building, and Moore purchased it in 1987 with then-husband Bruce Willis. Much like the top floor unit in the north tower, this penthouse was reportedly combined with part of the tower’s mechanical and storage space above to create a three-story unit with over 7,000-square-feet of living space, multiple terraces and 360-degree views from all floors. However, it’s been reported elsewhere that the unit is really only two stories and the “third” floor counts for maybe half a story.
Amenities in the Emery Roth-designed building include a state-of-the-art health club, a bike room, a multi-purpose community room and private storage lockers, and after becoming a co-op in the 1970s, all 136 apartments have all been outfitted with modern appliances and fixtures as well as thermal window glass. Over the years, the building has housed dozens of celebrities, including Donna Karan, Steven Spielberg, Glenn Close, Tiger Woods, Diane Keaton, the late Steve Jobs, and Dustin Hoffman, who sold his triplex for $21 million earlier this year.
