People fortunate enough to travel to other countries often wish they could make meaningful contributions to help meet the needs of the places they visit, and Pack For A Purpose, founded in 2009 allows them to do exactly that. This community based project is supported by hotels and resorts in 56 countries around the world. Virgin Limited Edition property – Kasbah Tamadot, is the first hotel in Morocco to support Pack for a Purpose, which provides travellers with up to date information regarding the supplies needed in the community of their travel destination. If you save just a few kilos of space in your suitcase and bring supplies for area schools or medical clinics in need, you’ll make a priceless impact in the lives of our local children and families.
In partnership with Pack with a Purpose Kasbah Tamadot is supporting three local charitable projects. The hotel’s initiatives include support of: A crèche in Asni providing free-of-charge pre-school activity center for young children living in remote Berber communities. The crèche helps the children to socialize and learn Arabic and French languages skills common in Morocco, but not always familiar to Berber-speaking children.
A girls’ boarding house in the Atlas Mountains offering 13- to 18-year-old girls an opportunity to complete their studies and ultimately open the door to better employment options.
Eve Branson Foundation Craft House training programs for young women including English and French language skills and the production of high-quality artisan products.

Kasbah Tamadot is the second Virgin Limited Edition property to support Pack For A Purpose’ as its sister property Ulusaba Private Game Reserve in South Africa, has been supporting two main projects for some time.
