One of the most prestigious events of the Mediterranean yachting season, the Monaco F1 Grand Prix attracts a wealth of high-society guests. The 72nd running of the Grand Prix will be held from May 22 to 25, and offers its spectators a plethora of ultra-luxe events. For those chartering a superyacht, the experience is simply unforgettable. The yacht brokerage and charter firm Floating Life is offering two yachts from its fleet, Ocean Emerald and Ocean Sapphire, for attending the Grand Prix on a super yacht.
Constructed at Italy’s Rodriquez Cantieri Navali in 2009 and 2011, respectively, Ocean Emerald and Ocean Sapphire are 135-foot sibling yachts that share an aggressive, futuristic hull design from Norman Foster’s firm Foster and Partners. The yachts, each of which features 2,500 square feet of exterior space, are perfect for watching the Grand Prix. Their interiors are equipped with floor-to-ceiling windows that provide sweeping views and plenty of natural light.
Their full-beam owner’s suites are each equipped with two outdoor terraces, perfect for viewing the races in a more intimate setting. The yachts’ sundecks provide uninterrupted vistas and feature a large curved sofa and expansive sun pad. With accommodations for as many as 12 in five cabins, both yachts provide the ideal venue for sharing the experience of watching the races with friends and family.
Both Ocean Emerald and Ocean Sapphire are available for charter during the Grand Prix for a weekly base rate of about $180,000.
