Adidas Originals got Rita Ora‘s personal style. The 23-year-old singer became the first female musical artist to collaborate with Adidas. She couldn’t hide her excitement about her collaboration with the German atheleticwear brand. “I’m a massive fan of the brand,” she gushed. “I grew up working at a sneaker store when I was 16 and am a huge sneakerhead. It’s so cool that I’m able to do this with a brand that I sold when I was younger… I’ve been around Adidas for so long growing up and actually have one of my best friends working there. I used to hang out in the Adidas offices in LA for lunch when I’d visit her and in the past two years got to know everyone there.”
Rita is set to release five separate capsule collections lasting a total of three seasons, until fall 2015. Each of the ranges is inspired by Ora’s personal style, music, tattoos…First up will be the Black line on August 21, followed by her Pastel range and Colourblock Packs offering on September 4, then lastly her Roses and Spray lines on November 1. Along with clothing there will be accessories and footwear, with prices ranging from $30 for a beanie hat to $500 for a leather jacket.
