The Casa Madrona hotel, in Sausalito, outside San Francisco, offers an unusual service – drone waiters intended only for guests who are staying in the property’s signature 5,000 square-foot master residence, The Alexandrite Suite, which costs $10,000 a night. While the drone is included with the price of the room, the cost for the bottles is not.
“We were brainstorming fun ways for luxury travelers coming through,” hotel spokeswoman Lindsay Weightman told the Daily News of its creation. “One thing kind of led to another and the champagne drone drop was born!”
