Lancome launched La Vie Est Belle in 2012, which was followed by lighter version of famed fragrance in July 2013, their ultra limited ddition of La Vie est Belle with Baccarat and Reuge in October also last year, and and La Vie Est Belle L’Eau de Toilette earlier this year. The French cosmetics brand will also launch more intense and more luxurious version of iconic fragrance in August 2014. Developed by perfumes Dominique Ropion and Anne Flipo, who chose to emphasize the sweet notes of the original, new scent preserves its signature notes.
The composition opens with accords of black currant and pear. The heart is composed of sweet iris, orange blossom, jasmine absolute and Damascus rose. The base includes tonka bean, praline and cashmere.
Julia Roberts, who has fronted the campaigns for La Vie Est Belle since the perfume’s launch, will of course be Lancome’s ambassador for this new version.
Lancome La Vie Est Belle L’Absolu will be available in bottles of 20 and 40 ml from August 25, priced at €64.70 ($88) for 20ml or €89.62 ($122) for 40ml.
