Google teamed up with Diane von Furstenberg to release a collectin of glasses for women. Furstenberg sat down with Elle Magazine to discuss her new line of Google Glasses, which will debut at her 2015 resort presentation. Dubbed “DVF | Made for Glass”, the collection consists of 13 frames and shades that come with Google Glass designed for ladies. Diane von Furstenberg designed the line which includes five new frames and eight new shades.
The collection is limited edition although the number of pieces produced is as yet undisclosed.
“DVF | Made for Glass” will be available for purchase online on Net-a-porter and Mr. Porter from June 23rd onwards. The frames will go for $1,725 apiece plus the Glass and the shades will cost $1,620 for the shades plus the Glass.
Google also released three of the artist’s designs including Aviator Graphite Flash, Navigator Orchid Mist Flash and Shiny Elderberry.
