Bacardi is a family run company that has been doing things a very specific way for over 150 years. When Bacardi family members get together to dine or share after-dinner cigars, they sip exclusive, aged rums poured from their private reserves. But they also thought of us when released The Facundo Rum Collection. This first collection of aged sipping rums from its private reserves includes four rare blends: FACUNDO NEO, FACUNDO Eximo, FACUNDO Exquisito and FACUNDO Paraíso.
The youngest rum in FACUNDO NEO is one year old, while the oldest rum in FACUNDO Paraíso is 23 years old. Exquisito and Paraíso are finished in casks used for sherry and French XO brandy. Each is a masterpiece, handcrafted by some of the world’s fi nest master blenders, to create the ultimate expression of rum. The four rums, aged up to 23 years, have been under development secretly for the past few years and were crafted from the Bacardi family’s reserves of 300 variants of rums.
These rums are a tribute to the original BACARDÍ Maestro de Ron (Master Blender), Don Facundo Bacardí Massó. Each rum in the collection celebrates the Bacardí golden era in Cuba with the individually styled Art Deco style heavy bottomed glass bottles with only 18,000 bottles of each expression released.
