Fashion designer Isaac Mizrahi, has partnered with the Madame Alexander Doll Company to create dolls and and doll accessories under his label. A collection of 18-inch play dolls and two limited-edition dolls are outfitted in clothes inspired by Mizrahi’s past collections.
“Working with Madame Alexander is a dream for me,” Mizrahi said. “They have always represented the highest-quality and most beautiful dolls in the world.”
The 21-inch limited edition doll named Cissy is dressed in a pink and red satin dress inspired by one of Mizrahi’s current Mikado dresses, while Mizrahi’s favorite 16-inch Alex is dressed in a design inspired by one of his early ’90s collections. She wears a taffeta ball skirt in “Issac pink,” ribbed white tank top, orange and pink striped puffer jacket, faux fur hat and black motorcycle boots.
“That’s my favorite just because of the hat and the whole idea of the perfection, the way they captured the exact spirit of the outfit,” Mizrahi said.
Stylish dolls signed by Isaac Mizrahi which range in price from $70 to $1,000, will be available this November at MadameAlexander.
