Meryl Streep has lowered the price for her updated midcentury modern home in Hollywood Hills West. The 1954 Research House by architects Honnold & Rex which was updated by celebrity designer Xorin Balbes is now on sale for $5.25 million. The Academy Award-winning actress had lofty expectations in April, when she asked $6.7 million. Since then, the home has seen two price adjustments; the latest of which recorded on May 31st, dropped the to $5.25 million.
The home, overlooking Sunset Plaza sits on a 0.36-acre lot and includes 3,700-square-feet of living space with four bedrooms and four bathrooms. This modern, state-of-the-art estate features exquisite quality of fixtures and furnishings, such as Italian marble flooring, walls of glass and a rough-hewn stone fireplace.
