At the Nürburgring the past few months several times has been seen the test specimen of mysterious Bentley Continental. Now we have the opportunity to see this car in its full beauty. The car is called Bentley Continental GT3-R, and will have its official premiere at the end of this month at Goodwood Festival of Speed event, and will be produced in a limited number of copies. Bentley Continental GT3-R is characterized mainly by a lower weight. Weight reduction is achieved thanks to the titanium exhaust system, by removing the rear seats and embedding lightweight 21-inch alloy wheels.
GT3-R is more powerful than the Continental GT V8 S since the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 now has 426 kW/580Hp at 6000 r / min. and 700 Nm at 1700 r / min. The engine is mated to a ZF eight-speed automatic transmission, and drive is on all four wheels. Bentley Continental GT3-R from 0 to 60mph comes in 3.8 seconds (0.7 seconds faster than the Continental GT V8 S). The series will be limited to only 300 pieces, and all will be in Glacier White color with contrast elements in carbon fiber with green graphics on the exterior.
