Vacheron Constantin, the world’s oldest Haute Horlogerie manufacture with almost 260 years of uninterrupted history, has opened its Berlin House new boutique in Moscow on 19 Jun 14. To celebrate this special occasion, Swiss watch manufacturer presented four limited editions of Patrimony collection: Patrimony Traditionnelle Calibre 2253 (one-only limited edition), Patrimony Contemporaine retrograde day and date (20-piece limited edition), Patrimony Contemporaine Perpetual Calendar ( 30-piece limited edition) and Patrimony Traditionnelle (30-piece limited edition).
“Vacheron Constantin is an established European brand,” said Dave Rodgerson, retail business development executive at Microsoft Canada, Toronto.“With locations in Paris, Geneva and Kiev, they also have boutiques in Beijing and New York.
“By adding Moscow they would seem to be continuing to concentrate on the European continent where they have an established foothold,” he said. “Moscow has become more of a ‘world city’ in recent years, so it make sense that they would look to this new market to expand their reach.
“This opening might be an opportunity for the brand to update their community and perhaps link it to a gala event when the new location opens. For followers of the brand that could not attend the launch in person, they might have the ability to participate through a live feed on the Hour Lounge Web site.”
The pricing for each Moscow Boutique edition will be similar to the regular production versions of each model.
