Earlier this year you could buy a penthouse apartment in a building Damac Maison in Dubai and get Lamborghini Aventador Roadster for free. Now, the same principe but the gift is a bit more modest. One Brooklyn developer offering a gray Tesla Model S sedan free if buy triplex townhouse for $6 million. Eitan Baron, president of Greenstone decided to bestow latest $75,000 Tesla model complete with a stereo system and glass roof, each costing $2,500 and $3,050 of the technology package including its garage that comes with its own charging function.
Baron just thinks the car is the perfect match for the apartment. “It’s like you dress up for the evening and put on a gold watch,” he says. “[The Tesla] is just my passion. It needs our support.” So does he own one himself? “No. I don’t have the place to park it,” he explains. “I don’t have the luxury of having my own parking garage.”
He “fought to keep the garage” in his project’s specs – the Buildings Department almost didn’t let him keep it – because parking in the neighborhood’s tough. The garage was demolished and in its place stands a “greenstone” (an environment-friendly brownstone) that has a 3,200-square-feet 4-bed triplex and a 1,700-square-feet 4-bed penthouse atop the triplex. Tesla comes with the Triplex and not with the penthouse. That triplex, which will hit the market sometime in the next two months via Town Residential’s Lyon Porter, features 3,200 square feet, a private two-story courtyard, and a garden with an outdoor kitchen, plus, the garage.
