First launched in 2009, the L.U.C Lunar Big Date now gets a whole new glow by adopting the full design codes of the new L.U.C aesthetic from 2012 onwards. Both the case, dial and hands are revamped. The moon phase is so accurate that the difference between the true lunar cycle and the indication given by the timepiece amounts to just one day every 122 years. There’s a large date display at 12 o’clock and a small second’s indication between 4 and 5 o’clock.
The applied hour-indexes are in Roman numerals and the crescent small-second display is now a full sub-dial. Silver-toned sunburst satin-brushed dial. Dauphine hands for the hours, minutes and small second. Inside the 42mm-diameter case, you’ll find the COSC-certified Fleurier Manufacture’s self-winding L.U.C Calibre 96.20-L with a micro-rotor.
An exceptional timepiece, available in 18-carat white gold. Water resistance is also improved and rated at 50m.
