The new Kawasaki Z1000 is already extremely aggressive motorcycle, and Kawasaki decided, to sharp lines, further emphasize with the Special Edition series that brings new color combinations.
The new 2014 Kawasaki Z1000 has a hard-to-define “streetfighter” style that is impactful enough to ensure everyone knows they’re seeing something special.
Kawasaki Z1000 Special Edition is powered by a water-cooled in-line 4-cylinder capacity of 1043 cc that delivers 142Hp at 10,000 r / min. with a maximum torque of 111 Nm at 7300 rpm, coupled with a 6-speed manual transmission. Horizontal Back-link rear suspension brings improvements of traditional Kawasaki’s Uni-Trak solution of using a horizontally mounted dampers, while front the fork is signed by Showa.
Special Edition comes with the 1.5 kg lighter wheels than the standard model. Radially mounted calipers are in a standard equipment while for the ABS you need to pay extra. For this Special Edition are reserved three color combinations: black, black and orange and green and gray.
This radical Supernaked motorcycle is available on the European market at a price of €12,280 ($16,500), while the model that comes with ABS is €500 ($680) more expensive.
