Ferrari 275 GTB / C Speciale out in 1965, which will be offered on Aug. 16 at the auction house RM Auctions Monterey, and is expected to reached around €25 million($33.66Million), could become the most expensive Ferrari car ever sold. Currently the most expensive model ever sold is Ferrari 275 GTB / 4 NART Spider which was auctioned last year and reached the price of 20 million euros($26.9Million). Only three copies of the model 275 GTB / C Speciale were made, and on the auction will be found a copy of the chassis number 06701, which came first from the factory in Maranello in 1965, and served for racing homologation model 275 GTB which competed at Le Mans alongside the Ford GT40 and Shelby Cobra Daytona.
The body is made of aluminum, and under the hood is a built 3.3 liter V12 engine with 320HP, which is 70HP more than the standard model 275 GTB. At one time this racing Ferrari at the 24 Hours of Le Mans take the title of the fastest car with the engine placed forward.
