Jaguar Land Rover has bought the largest private collection of classic British cars in the world, which is named after its collector, James Hull. This collection involves 543 vehicles, including a Jaguar SS100, aluminum XK120 and MK X, which was owned by William Lyons. Among other models worth mentioning are several types C and D, as well as almost close to 100 other Jaguar models. Jaguar Land Rover gave a statement that this acquisition indicate their desire to preserve the heritage, and the cars will be used for marketing purposes within existing and emerging markets.
John Edwards, one of the managers of the company Jaguar Land Rover, said that the company was very pleased that they managed to agree with James Hull, since in this way, the future of this impressive collection of Jaguar and British vehicles is insured.
