Louis Vuitton has been known for its trunks for years and today the French luxury house pays tribute to its design signature with three gold trunks in miniature pendant form. These beautiful and brilliant pieces known as the “Petites Malles” or “Little Trunks” pendants appeared on the Louis Vuitton fall-winter 2014-2015 show, Nicolas Ghesquière’s first as brand creative director.
Each piece is made from yellow gold and finished with high jewelery craftsmanship, with impeccable attention to detail. In-store now, the tiny trunks dangled longways, closed and open at the end of a gold keyhole-link chain, each engraved to convey the same impressive level of detail as their full-sized counterparts right down to the gold ingot-style hallmark on the back.
These small treasures, available only in yellow gold cost €4,500 ($6,040).
