Parmigani Fleurier is unveiling three limited editions of the Bugatti timepiece to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the partnership. The Bugatti Mythe, the Bugatti Victoire and the Bugatti Révélation are the new versions of this Anniversary Limited Edition. Bugatti Mythe is based on an emblematic Bugatti component: the legendary Type 57 grille. The dial is ruthenium colored with an 18K rose gold grille. This grille, which graced the very first Bugatti cars, has a striking structure, formed of lines rather than mesh. These lines are echoed in the watch dial and they extend downward beyond its perimeter, affirming the Art Deco style which made the historic grille such a success.
The Bugatti Mythe will be produced in limited edition and is powered by caliber PF370, which features manual winding using a dynamometric starter. It comes in cylindrical shaped 18K rose gold case that measures 32.40 by 52.50 by 18.6 mm, and has a satin and polished hammered finish. The movement beats at 3Hz, has 314 total components, 37 of which are jewels, and a 10-day power reserve, thanks to 2 series-coupled barrels. The main plate is decorated with circular graining and is hand bevelled. Functions include hours and minutes, along with a power reserve indication on the side of a rotating drum.
The sapphire crystal is anti-reflective. The back is clear and is engraved with an individual number. Water-restiance is 10 meters. If you think that’s not unique enough, the Black alligator strap is crafted by Hermès. The price for the Parmigiani Bugatti Mythe watch is $430,000.
The Mythe joins the Parmigani Fleurier Bugatti: 370, Super Sport, Atalante, Vitesse and Aerolithe watch models. The Mythe is being debuted at Pebble Beach’s Concours d’Elegance this coming weekend. Two additional anniversary limited edition watch models will be debuted last this year.
