BMW has announced that, later this month at the Auto Show in Moscow, will expose the armored model of X5 named Security Plus. Armored X5 meets safety standards VR6 level, while the highest level VR7 otherwise provides BMW 7 Series High Security. The car is of course undergone a number of changes that, among other things regarding suspension and brakes, and as a result of the protective elements the weight is increased compared to the standard version.
The armored BMW X5 Security Plus is, as well as all other versions of the X5, producing in the Spartanburg factory in the USA.
