BMW has presented, at a traditional event, Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in the USA, a special BMW i8 Concours d’Elegance Edition, for which was announced earlier that it will be offered at the Gooding & Company Pebble Beach Auction. The new owner of this unique specimen of BMW i8 allocated $825,000, (standard i8 in the United States normally costs $135,700). BMW i8 Concours d’Elegance Edition is characterized by BMW Individual Frozen Grey metallic paint, laser headlights, Dalbergia Brown leather interior, BMW and Blue Seams, “BMW i8” inscription on the headrests and the “Concours d’Elegance Edition” label.
BMW i8 combines a 1.5-liter three-cylinder TwinPower Turbo petrol engine, electric motor and lithium-ion batteries. The combined system power is 266 kW / 362Hp, and a top speed is 155mph.
