Robbie Williams is in the middle of trying to sell the palatial Compton Bassett Manor, in Marlborough, Wilts, but stinking fumes from a nearby landfill site only hindering. The property with formal gardens and approximately 71 acres is attacked with the she smell which is more obnoxious than rotten eggs. However, whoever does decide to buy the property, will get seven bedrooms, two staff flats and a detached cottage, indoor pool/leisure complex, tennis court, paddocks and hangar among others.
Robbie paid £8.5 million for it in 2009 and has listed it at £7.5 million in 2011 and earlier this year he dropped the price to £5.5 million.
